NAGROTA: Police on Friday foiled a bovine smuggling bid by rescuing 32 bovines, however smuggler managed to escape from the spot. As per the details, Nagrota police during Naka near Toll Plaza intercepted a truck and during checking found it laden with 32 bovines which were rescued. A case was registered in this regard and manhunt was launched to nab the smuggler who escaped from the spot.
