JAMMU: The core-committee members of All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS), during a webinar on Tuesday, released an e-document ‘The Domicile’. The webinar was presided over by President AIKS, Col (Dr) Tej Tikoo (retired) and moderated by General Secretary, M K Pajan. The team, which worked to finalise the document under leadership of Vijay Kashkari, Vice President AIKS included Sanjay Sapru, Sunil Koul and Kamal Warikoo.
Pertinent to mention here that need to draw up a document was observed when AIKS received hundreds of queries by KP community members regarding the order no 52-JK (DMRRR) of 2020 and SO-166 issued by UT Jammu & Kashmir administration, pertaining to registration of community members not registered till date and grant of Domicile Certificate, respectively.
AIKS made a comprehensive chronicle and merged question-answers as a ready-reckoner along with necessary flow-charts, summarising Government’s instructions.
AIKS appealed to entire community that all those members of community, who are yet not registered with Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrant) Jammu, to get themselves registered for determining the exact number of KPs displaced from Valley.
