JAMMU: Students of British International School (BIS), Sainik Colony, Jammu, on Saturday visited Air Force Station, Jammu to celebrate Parakram Parv- second anniversary of surgical strikes.
Students were treated to special displays of defence equipments like MI-17 helicopters, Remote Piloted Aircraft (RPA) and Mobile Communication Terminal.
Air Force Garud Commandos with their state of art weapons were the key attraction of the display.
This experience was meant to help BIS students to understand how the Indian Air Force functions.
It helps them to understand what it is to be an Air Force pilot or what it is to stand up for one’s country.
