SRINAGAR: Department of Forests on Saturday held a function to bid an affectionate farewell to Chief Conservator Forests (CCF) Javid Iqbal Punjoo (IFS 1995-batch), who attained superannuation after serving the Department for 37 years.

Services of the retiring officer which he rendered for the Department were highly appreciated on the occasion.

On the occasion, Punjoo was presented a shawl and a memento as a token of appreciation to his services for the Department.  The officers and officials of the Department wished the retiring Chief Conservator a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.

Meanwhile, a warm send-off was accorded to Helper, Forest Department Omkar Nath Pandita upon his superannuation. His services for the department were also appreciated and the Department wished him a joyful post-retirement life.
