JAMMU: To review various preventive measures to contain spread of coronavirus and lockdown arrangements, the Inspector General of Police Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh visited twin districts Poonch and Rajouri on Monday. He also took stock of preventive measures being taken for police personnel deployed at sensitive places. He was accompanied by DIG of Police Poonch -Rajouri Range, Vivek Gupta.
During his visit, the IGP held a meeting with senior Police /CAPF officers to review preparedness for containing the spread of coronavirus. He appreciated the role of security personnel in both districts, for working day and night.
IGP Jammu stressed upon all the officers and Jawans to download #ArogyaSetu App in their cell Phones for checking risk factor of COVID-19.
Later, IGP Jammu reviewed arrangements being made at quarantine centers. The districts SSsP gave the detailed briefing to IGP Jammu about the preparedness and measures taken against COVID-19 in their respective districts.
