BHADARWAH: Deputy Inspector General of Police DKR Range Rafiq-Ul-Hassan held a crime review meeting of Sub-Division Bhaderwah and Gandoh (i.e Police Stations Bhaderwah, Thathri and Gandoh) on Wednesday at Dak Banglow Bhaderwah. SSP Doda Shabir Ahmed, Addl SP Bhadarwah Rajinder Kumar, CPO DKR Range Ishtiyaq Ahmed Bhatti, SO to DIG Showket Ali, CPO Bhaderwah Tehmore Jhangir, SDPO Bhadarwah Adil Hussain Rishu, SDPO Gandoh Krishan Singh, All SHOs of Sub Division Bhaderwah and Gandoh were present in the meeting.
DIG DKR Range Rafiq-ul-Hassan examined the performance of police stations. The main focus of the meeting was to improve the quality of investigation, Besides, disposal of missing persons, inquest proceedings, arrest of absconders and action under preventive measures were also reviewed. The issues of public complaints pending with Sub-Division levels were also discussed.
In the meeting DIG DKR Range Rafiq-Ul-Hassan discussed all cases one by one. He advised SHOs for finalisation of the pending cases/public complaints to give the relief to the general public. DIG personally checked the case files of heinous offences and directed I/Os for speedy disposal of cases assigned to them for conducting the investigation. The investigating staff was also directed to conduct the investigation of cases with zeal, dedication and with transparency at an earliest possible time in the public interest and bring the pendency to the minimum.
Thereafter, the DIG along with SSP Doda Shabir Ahmed, Addl SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Kumar, CPO DKR Range Ishtiyaq Ahmed Bhatti, SO to DIG Showket Ali, CPO Bhaderwah Tehmore Jhangir, SDPO Bhaderwah Adil Hussain Rishu, SDPO Gandoh Krishan Singh, all SHOs of Sub Division Bhaderwah and Gandoh held a meeting at Dak Banglow Bhaderwah with respectable of Bhaderwah and adjoining area.
DIG Rafiq-Ul-Hassan addressed the participants and assured that their genuine demands/suggestion will be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt redressel and those pertaining to Police department will considered at the earliest.
