JAMMU: Balbir Ram Rattan, the Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu and Kashmir, is in touch with party activists even in lockdown. He daily calls party activists to enquire about their well-being, when they have confined themselves in their homes, as a measure to remain safe from coronavirus infection.
While sharing his daily activities, Balbir said, “We all are in our homes and it is not possible to meet anyone due to ongoing. In such a situation, we can contact our friends, relatives and well wishers through phone and other means of social media. From the day one of the lockdown, I have been calling 8-10 workers of party daily to enquire about their well being. BJP is just like a family for us and all party activists are members of family. When we worry about our relatives and friends, it becomes our responsibility to take care of people associated with us in BJP.”
Balbir further said that Bharatiya Janata Party is a big family and millions of members of the family live in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir. If we would talk to them over phone and worry about their family’s health and welfare in this odd time, it would make them realise that all people of the family, with which he or she belongs, are concerned for each other, he asserted.
