REASI: SSP Reasi on Tuesday felicitated three persons for the act of bravery who saved the precious life of infant child age about 1 ½ yrs and helped the District Police and SDRF in rescue of private rafting boat which overturned in Chenab river near Baradari bridge Talwara Reasi .
As per the details, at about 10.45 AM that one raft of a private company in which five girls of Govt. Higher Secondary School Pouni and four Yatris from Uttar Pradesh alongwith one infant were travelling from lower Talwara towards Kanshi Patta, suddenly the above raft flipped near Baradari bridge Talwara Reasi and the trainee girls alongwith Yatris and Rafting guide namely Rahul Verma, son of Rattan Lal, resident of Aghar Ballian Tehsil and District Reasi, also skidded out from the raft due to rash and negligent navigation of Rafting guides.
On this, one girl namely Pooja Rajput, daughter of Chatter Singh, resident of Pouni, Reasi and two other boys namely Liyaqat Ali, son of Mohd Bashir Ahmed, resident of Zero Morh and Mohd Mahroof, son of Mohd Yaqoob, resident of Zero Morh Talwara Reasi showed brave efforts to save the precocious life of infant child age about 1 ½ yrs and helped the District Police and SDRF in rescue which was very appreciable. For their brave efforts they were given cash reward by Nisha Nathyal SSP Reasi, Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan, ASP Reasi, Vaseem Mehmood, DySP Hqrs and SI Ajay Engotra I/C PP Talwara.
