JAMMU: The prodigy of Jammu and a student of BSF Senior Secondary School Jammu, Onkar Singh once again brought laurels to the country by winning the United Nations Frontier of Peace & Humanitarian Organization (UNFPHO) International Youth Essay Competition on ‘Human Rights and Duties’.
The contest was organised online at the website of United Nations.
Onkar Singh won this international level competition and is awarded by the membership certificate of United Nations Peace (IFPHO) Organisation.
He is chosen as the IFPHO peace representative of UN for the region of Jammu.
He is the youngest person in the world to be chosen as the representative of International UN Frontiers of Peace & Humanitarian organization.
Also, on April 5, 2020 Onkar was awarded with the International award of NASA American Eagle Scouts 2020 by National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA), United States.
He participated in this contest in November, 2019 where he gave scientific solutions to the problems faced by Astronauts during space travel.
He gave the credit of these successes to his parents, the school and teachers.
