Ghulam nabi azadNew Delhi: Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Friday said Pakistan needed to be told that friendship, talks and militancy cannot go together, adding that whenever India has tried to be friends with the neighboring country, it has always back stabbed.

“It is sad that Pakistan is habitual in backstabbing. Whenever we have tried to be friends with Pakistan, they have always back stabbed,”Azad said here.

“This time also the foreign secretary level talks have just concluded, it is just within a week after that, this incident has taken place which is most unfortunate. I think Pakistan has to be told that both friendship, talks and militancy cannot go together,” he added.

Azad was speaking after an attack on the Rajbagh police station in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district killed one policeman and injured nine people.
