One wonders over the common sense of some Kashmiri politicians. A former MP Mehboob Beg has made a common cause with ‘all political parties’ to stress Government of India to postpone polls till army personnel involved in Chatergham killing are punished. The army has regretted over the incident and ordered Court Martial proceedings. Indian leadership has also expressed concern over the killing of two young persons.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for politicians, who see writing on wall about their imminent defeat in the ensuing polls, to digress democratic process, knowing well that India is not a banana country where summary executions can be ordered to satiate their whims?
