SAMBA: Police on Monday arrested a tea stall vendor along with two other persons for selling liquor.
As per the details, acting on specific information about selling/facilitating liquor consumption illegally at his shop, a party of Police Station Samba conducted raid and apprehended the shop owner namely Gourav Misra, son of Surinder Kumar Misra, resident of W. No. 07, Chohata, Samba. Two more persons who were drinking liquor at the shop during raid were also arrested and have been identified as Umesh Dass, son of Shivji Dass, resident of Rohini, New Delhi and Mohan Lal, son of Mahavir Parsad, resident of Khudana, Haryana both at present staying at SIDCO Samba. A case vide FIR No. 65/2020 under Section 50, 50 (A) Excise Act was registered against them at Police Station Samba.
