JAMMU: Joginder Singh, SSP Traffic City on Wednesday discussed remedial measures to decongest Amphalla-Janipur road being the most vulnerable/ densely populated area and the leading road towards High Court Jammu.
In a meeting held here with stakeholders, Joginder Singh informed that diversion shall be given to Mini-Buses/ PSVs from August 31, 2019 viz Mini-Buses of Muthi-Bantalab-Kot Bhalwal and Agore routes from Rehari Chungi to Jaggi Darbar via Sarwal Hospital Road-Patoli Morh for to-and-fro movement.
The meeting further decided that prior to this, a joint drive of JMC, Revenue, Traffic and District Police shall be undertaken in City North especially from Rehari to Jaggi Darbar to remove road encroachments and wrong parking etc, for ensuring free flow of vehicular traffic.
