SRINAGAR: Police arrested three gamblers from Nowshera area of Soura and recovered stake money of more than Rs. 17,000 from the gamblers.
A police party from Police Station Soura raided a gambling site at Nowshera following an input about gambling activities and apprehended three gamblers for gambling offences. They have been shifted to Police Station Soura where they remain in custody.
Officers have also seized playing cards and stake amount of Rs. 17,640 from the gamblers.
Case FIR No. 13/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Soura.
