Despite getting exposed badly over its failure to provide much required succour to its population during the time of crisis on account of coronavirus, the rogue nation Pakistan is not mending its ways and has been pounding shells at various fronts on International Border and Line of Control (LoC) with a sole aim of perpetuating infiltration of terrorists to foment trouble in J&K and other parts of the country. Although, India is responding befittingly and teaching a lesson of life to its western neighbour for its immoral acts on borders, the pig-headed enemy is not retracting rather it is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that India is hit hard by Pak’s evil designs. Yesterday only responding to Pakistan’s unprovoked firing in Poonch and Mendhar sectors, India in its retaliatory action devastated two Pakistani posts injuring 3 Pakistani soldiers including a JCO. Besides, Indian security forces intensifying their action against ultras on Sunday neutralized a group of terrorists near LoC at north Kashmir’s Kupwara forest area believed to have sneaked into this side after engaging jawans guarding borders in a gunfight which continued sporadically last week. Unfortunately, some jawans were also martyred in the operation. Minister of State for Defence Shripad Naik has informed the country that there were a total of 646 incidents of ceasefire violations along the Indo-Pakistan International Border (IB) as well as the Line of Control (LoC) between January 1 and February 23 this year. It seems that Pakistan has forgotten the insult inflicted on it by India under its new strategy of offensive-defence by strengthening military response to Pakistan’s bid for infiltration of terrorists by venturing out on the other side of LoC during surgical strikes and Balakot attack. Surely, the statistics coming out with regard to terrorists’ infiltration bids and ceasefire violations by Pakistan clearly indicate that India should fortify its defence rather carry forward its offensive-defence plans to tighten the noose around Pakistan forcing it to think thousand times before taking a step against India. It is the time that India should tame Pakistan using diplomatic, defence, economical and other available means and explain its leadership about the true picture of its dismal position and a stand which has no takers at all in any place on globe.
