JAMMU: Training and Placement Cell of Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) in collaboration with Federation of Training and Placement Officers and GenNext Education USA, on Sunday organized webinar on ‘Funding and Scholarship plus Career Opportunities in Foreign Universities’.
The webinar was intended to provide the awareness and challenges that Indian students face in accessing quality education along with the challenges universities face while navigating the complex web of India.
They wanted to create the platform that would alleviate challenges and make it easier for all constituents to fulfill their goals. The topics discussed in webinar included, the power of international education, higher education in USA, Canada, UK etc., current global issues, graduate study options (Master’s, Ph.D.), scholarships and funding, career opportunities abroad.
Their commitment is to provide Indian students with clear, reliable and comprehensive information regarding their overseas education options combined with the keen interest in internationalizing Indian and foreign institutions through mutual beneficial initiatives led to the creation of the International Knowledge Center (IKC).
The IKC was designed to serve as a single-window operation to facilitate global educational opportunities. Through this webinar the students were made aware about all the global educational opportunities that GenNext continues to promote with universities, schools across India and inspired students to become future-ready.
All the final year and pre final year students of all the departments attended this webinar.
