JAMMU: Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) Jammu held an interaction session with senior Congress leaders on Sunday. The meeting was organised by Divyansh Jamwal (Secretary PYC) and Anirudh Sawhney (Assembly President AYC, Jammu West). On the occasion, five senior congress leaders including Pawan Dev Singh, Jung Bahadur Sharma, Sandeep Gandotra, Shafaqat Khokhar (Tinu) and Michael Khokhar were facilitated by Youth Congress.
Speaking on the occasion, Youth Congress leaders urged senior party leaders to provide suggestions and guidance for further improving the working of organisation.
Former Minister J&K and General Secretary JKPCC, Incharge Jammu Urban, Yogesh Sawhney was also present during the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, he encouraged PYC activists to keep working in right direction for welfare of people. He also encouraged party cadre to impart awareness on anti-youth policies of BJP government. While addressing the gathering, Sawhney said that with lack of job opportunities for youth, unemployment is reaching record heights, as promises made by the Govt to create jobs for youths remained unfulfilled.
“J&K youth is suffering a lot due to anti-youth policies of government including failure to revoke SRO-202, withdrawal of five years age relaxation for J&K youth in UPSC exams besides failing to frame a proper regularisation policy for unregularised employees,” stated Sawhney.
Others present on the occasion included JKPYC General Secretary Nimrandeep Singh, Ricky Dalotra, Avijot Singh and Secretary Brinder Singh.
